ELLIE & JAKE at HYDE HOUSE

I'm still reeling from this gorgeous wedding at Hyde House singing for the new Mr & Mrs Attwood. This is my first ever blog post so I hope you enjoy reading!

This was my first time singing at Hyde house, and after having so many lovely conversations with the couple about the vibe and feel they wanted for their wedding, I knew we were going to have a good day!

I performed my EFYDD package which included the ceremony and drinks reception. For the ceremony I was in the gorgeous barn, and then for the drinks reception I moved out into the garden as we were lucky with such lovely weather.

I thought I'd share Ellie & Jake's song choices as I don't often post about what I've been singing unless I upload a video on socials from the day!

For the ceremony, Ellie walked down the aisle to 'The Vow' by Ruth Anne. I added the original harmony section from Ruth Anne's version to the bridge, which created an emotional and dramatic entrance.

Another highlight was singing 'Angels' by The XX as the guests took their seats. Jake, the groom requested this one as a last minute addition and I recognised the song instantly from Gossip Girl! Did anyone else obsess over that programme?

Then for the drinks reception, Ellie & Jake chose such a vibey set list! My favourite moment was right at the end when I sang 'Champagne Kisses' by Jessie Ware (absolute banger btw) as a surprise for Ellie. It's one of her absolute favourites so Jake made sure to get this request in also, top marks! They had a special moment together, just the two of them as their guests had started making their way in for dinner.

A few others I loved performing was 'Life Will Be' by Cleo Sol. A new one for me and this artist is SO underrated. Obviously 'Unwritten' popped off and the bridesmaids and groomsmen all got involved! Will this song ever get old? Nope, never.

Then I sang them in for the wedding breakfast. One of the groomsmen did an epic job of hyping everyone up, and I sang 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' which got everyone singing along! I mean Whitney at a wedding is a must is it not?

Epic day for an epic couple. So grateful.
